All messages of lord saint Lord Bo Tien have been re-scoped in English based on that in Hokkien through late Snr Bro Philip. Inner Truth Netizen has emphasized on the big picture i.e. relevance of the message for the wider world at large, for any temple, for any organisation and for anyone individual in any corner of the world and regardless of religious and sectarian affiliation or even if none.

In 1984 anniversary message, the emissary of Lord Bo Tien said, "The lord saint rejoices that the Mission has been rolled out." Then He said to Elder Ling, "The history of the Mission has to be put into writing for the benefit of those in the future."

Many years after 1984, a representative of Lord Bo Tien reflected in the closing years in the life of P.PHILIP. "The excuses and issues of humans are common and plentiful even amongst those in spiritual fold. This is to be expected of human imperfection. The lord saint is like the vast ocean. No amount of human yin yang mud can make an impact on the ocean. This is true too of the Mission He rolls out for Heaven."

Richness in life

and the second coming of a buddha or messiah (Incidentally, the second coming of a buddha or messiah must require the prophet concerned to reconcile the diversity and yet oneness of sects and faiths. Inner truth netizen 2 is of the impression that the mission of Lord Bo Tien has to do with paving the way for the second coming because in the modern world, with modern globalisation, a new prophet has to address global concerns and ramifications)

This posting touches on terrorist roots, monopolistic traits, fundamentalism and how government coercion for multi religious centres can avoid various pitfalls and ills of overzealous fervour of sectarian approach. But detractors may prefer the status quo of separate religious and sectarian boundaries and enclaves. Do read on ...

Form and substance ---- Do not disregard the role ...

Extract: Go for the substance of truth but the form too is no less important though without the substance, the form is of less value. There is form and substance of truth. Do not play down the role of form. Go for the substance and select the form to propel this in your life. Lord Bo Tien in choosing to descend in an ethnic Chinese temple wanted to show us that substance of truth can be presented even in such a form. He is not here to start any new religion or sect but to show that substance is the same behind all forms.....

The inner voice of God in us

Extract: Cultivate and nurture the inner voice of God. Make sure it is a loving one and has to do with peace and ease, not fear, displeasure and dis-ease. How? The answer lies in how we love our self and want to make good what we have and can have, how we can accept our lot and move on. Be nice to our self and God will be nice to us. Be nice to our self and somehow, the world suddenly will be nicer to us even though there is no miraculous change from the immediate past. A few have wrongly conceived God as wrathful and jealous God and they encourage fear and guilt within themselves. They fear to think, to do more and to want to love themselves ever more for they fear to hurt God. Is there the need to do so? Is God not perfect and beyond hurt, jealousy, anger, greed and need to control others? On the contrary, we and not God and saints are the ones who are liable to be hurt, jealous, angry, greedy and we often want others to please us as we want to control others. Isn't this an example of doctrine in life and an evidence of God speaking to us through our life --- the inner voice of God in us.

(9)
Is there the need?

Extract: Is there the need to say that all practices and religions are different or the same? 'Yes' and 'No' and both 'Yes' and 'No' and perhaps neither as well. All depend on where you are coming from. All are one and one is all. Is there the need to talk like that and to twist words like that? This is perhaps food for thought. This is exactly what Lord Bo Tien tries to convey to us on the oneness and yet distinctness of faiths and sects. There is oneness as there is common purpose with God and divinity as the inner truth behind all. There is distinctiveness or separateness as they are distinct faiths and ways of approach.

The Lord is the shepherd

The sheep that are far may be near even though far from the shepherd. Lord Bo Tien had said in 1975 at Sitiawan temple that the far may be near and the near may be far. Those who pray with sincere heart to the saint, the saint will take heed and those who seek the saint for blessings, the saint will come to bless them. Big issue will be small issue and small issues will be no issue.

Blogger remembers

We remember transcended brethren like Philip, Sin Hee, Chong Sim, Ah Wah, Henry, Hock Chuan and Romeo as well as all others as deserving if not more. Their contributions to the lives of many have made the difference. They will continue to be blessed as they have blessed us when they were with us. May they have beautiful wholesome, good, worthwhile and everlasting fond memories of their sojourn with us as fellow brethren. Even the gods and demigods would agree and want them to do so and move on for the better, if not, the best that can be reached.
